You might start wondering, what is that? Starting this year, Bali will have a logo of its own simbolizing its cultural and tourism in Bali.

The visual interpretation means:

Symetrical Triangle

The triangle describes the essence of stability and and balance. The triangle is the symbols of the three Hindu Gods (Brahma, Shiva, and Wisnu), describing the three level of worlds (Bhur, Bwah and Swah Loka) and the three levels of life (birth, live and death).

Symetrical Flora Carving

If the logo is folded in the midle line of the triangle, you could see that the carving in the background is very much symetrical simbolizing Balance. The flora background shows the creativity of Balinese and the closeness of its people to the nature around them.

Top Crown at The Tringle

The crown represents the Highest Achievement which consists of Great Consciousness, Greatness, and Nobelity which become the purpose of Tri Hita Karana (balance in relation with fellow human, nature, and Gods).

Font

The Bali writing is specialy design to adopt the shapes and curves in Bali’s ancient writings. The letter B in Bali is shaped like 3 and resembles the letter Ang (the Brahma holy letter). The letter L stood tall to support the crown at the top representing sustainability from everyone in Bali in order to reach the highest goal.

Color

The logo uses three colors Red, Black, and White (Tri Datu). Red symbolize Brahma The Creator, Wisnu The Keeper, and Shiva The Destructor. The colaboration of the three colors representing the Three Gods (Tri Murti) that preserve and protect Bali and every life in it in order to create harmony and progress.

Tagline: Shanti Shanti Shanti

Shanti, means peace. The tagline represent the peace of one self and the universe that will create a holy vibration and balance the life of all creature.

As you can see this new logo is one of Balineese art, and like every art made in Bali, it’s full of religious essence within.
